Best Pathfinder 2e Quality of Life Modules for Foundry VTT (2026)
Last updated October 12, 2026
Last checked: October 2026 · Verified for Foundry v14 · System: Pathfinder Second Edition
The PF2e system for Foundry already automates a lot of the rules. These modules smooth out what's left: the checks people forget, the reminders nobody wants to track, and the bookkeeping between fights. Every pick is listed on FoundryMods as verified for Foundry v14, and all of them are popular with PF2e tables.
In combat
PF2e Modifiers Matter
Highlights when a status effect (a buff, debuff, or condition) changed the outcome of a roll. Players see when a condition like Frightened actually mattered.
PF2e Flat Check
Runs flat checks automatically when characters make weapon Strikes or cast spells, so concealed and hidden targets stop being forgotten.
PF2e Reaction Checker
Checks combatants' reactions, so available reactions are less likely to be forgotten.
pf2E Extempore Effects
Creates temporary effects from chat messages, so you can mark tokens as affected by a spell, action, or item that doesn't have a built-in effect.
PF2e Keybind Menagerie
Adds keybinds for conditions, actions, and other common tasks in the PF2e system.
Token Action HUD Pathfinder 2
▶ Watch on Baileywiki: “Token HUDs (Token Action HUD by Russell and Argon Combat HUD by Ripper)” in The 7 Essential Foundry VTT Add-On Modules - January 2025 Ed… (20:35) (Covers Token Action HUD generally, not PF2e-specific) · “Token HUDs” in The Top 5 Quality of Life Modules for Running the Game in #F… (7:05) (Token HUDs chapter, general)
A repositionable HUD of actions for the selected token. Pick one HUD: prefer PF2e HUD (from the Toolbelt/Dailies author)? Enable it instead of Token Action HUD, not alongside it. The loadout includes it switched off. Install Token Action HUD with Token Action HUD Core (FoundryMods).
Between encounters
PF2e Dailies
Gives you a convenient way to handle daily preparations.
Helpers & toolkits
PF2e Toolbelt
A collection of PF2e features from the author of PF2e Dailies and PF2e HUD, used in about 1 in 10 Foundry installs. Each feature is toggled separately, so enable only what you need.
PF2e Workbench
A grab bag of helpful utilities for the PF2e and SF2e systems, and one of the most-installed PF2e modules. Browse its settings and switch on what fits your table. Workbench and Toolbelt overlap in places, so if both offer a feature, enable it in only one.
Troubleshooting
If something breaks, use Find the Culprit! (FoundryMods) to switch modules off and on in a binary search until the conflict shows up. ▶ “Honorable Mention: Find the Culprit!” (2:10)
If modules stopped working right after a Foundry or system update, see Modules broke after a Foundry update?.
Also good (not in the loadout)
- Pf2e Sustain Reminder (FoundryMods): reminds casters about sustained spells they've cast.
- Monk's PF2e Encounter Aftermath (FoundryMods): organizes what each player is doing after combat, so there's no more awkward "what are you doing now?"
- PF2e Award XP (FoundryMods): opens an XP award dialog after combat, posts a chat card, and updates the combatants' XP.
- PF2e Visioner (FoundryMods): per-token visibility (observed, concealed, hidden, undetected) and cover states.
- Pathmuncher (FoundryMods): imports characters from Pathbuilder (or Hephaistos 2E).
- Skip for now: PF2e Dorako UX and PF2e Graphics are listed as verified only through v12 on FoundryMods.

Frequently asked questions
What are the must-have Pathfinder 2e modules for Foundry VTT?
Popular starting points include PF2e Workbench, PF2e Toolbelt, PF2e Modifiers Matter, PF2e Dailies, Pathmuncher, and a combat HUD (Token Action HUD Pathfinder 2 or PF2e HUD). All of them are verified for Foundry v14 on FoundryMods.
Do I need modules to play Pathfinder 2e in Foundry?
No. The PF2e system is very complete on its own. These modules remove friction rather than add missing rules.
Will these slow my game down?
Most are lightweight. Install with the loadout, enable only what you'll use, and use Find the Culprit! if something conflicts.
Are these modules compatible with Foundry v14?
Yes. Every module in the main list is verified for Foundry v14 on FoundryMods.
