The 50 most-installed modules on v14

"Verified for" is the range of Foundry versions the developer has verified. "Not yet" means the latest release isn't verified for v14. It may still load, but nobody has promised it will.

Not ready yet? What to use instead

These are the most common "not yet" modules and their v14 alternatives. We only suggest modules that FoundryMods lists as verified for v14.

Wall Height and the Levels suite → core Levels

v14 has multi-level scenes built in (“Core Levels” (11:45)). Wall Height is verified only for v13, but the Levels module is verified for v14 and, with it enabled on v14, offers a migration pop-up to convert your scenes to core Levels (“Migration Tools for Levels Module Users” (40:42)). Better Roofs is verified for v14 and adds fog-reveal and linked roof tiles on top of core Levels. To build and audit core Levels scenes faster, there's Baileywiki Better Levels, our own module made for v14 core Levels.

Token Attacher → Baileywiki Mass Edit

Token Attacher is verified only for v13. Baileywiki Mass Edit can link objects together so you move a whole building at once, "similar to how Token Attacher works", as we put it in our Top 5 video (“Baileywiki Mass Edit” (16:30)).

PopOut! → still fine, and now partly core

PopOut! is verified for v14. v14 also lets you detach most windows natively (“Detachable Windows (Pop Out)” (8:44)), so check whether you still need it.

Token Action HUD Classic → Token Action HUD Core

Token Action HUD Classic was last verified on v10. Token Action HUD Core plus your system's Token Action HUD module (for example Token Action HUD D&D 5e or Token Action HUD Pathfinder 2) is verified for v14.

Libraries: lib - ColorSettings and Settings Extender

lib - ColorSettings and Settings Extender are libraries that other modules install as dependencies. They aren't verified for v14, so check which of your modules require them and whether those modules have v14 releases.

"Compatible" isn't the whole story: system versions

A module can be verified for Foundry v14 and still not support your game system's version. As of October 2026:

  • D&D 5e: dnd5e 6.0.x requires v14. The Midi-QOL and DAE builds listed on FoundryMods support dnd5e 5.3 only; their 14.6.0+ builds for dnd5e 6 are installed by manifest link. Details: Best D&D 5e combat automation modules.
  • Pathfinder 2e: pf2e 8.6 requires v14. Several PF2e modules are verified on older pf2e versions with no maximum, so test them first. See Best Pathfinder 2e quality of life modules.

Always check the system range on a module's FoundryMods page before you upgrade.

Frequently asked questions

How many Foundry modules are compatible with v14?

On October 11, 2026, the FoundryMods tracker showed 238 of the 500 most-installed modules verified for v14 and 262 not yet. The live tracker at foundrymods.com/compatibility/v14 is updated as modules release new versions.

Will a module that isn't verified for v14 still work?

Sometimes, but there's no promise. "Verified" means the developer checked it on that version. Test unverified modules in a copy of your world, or wait for an update.

Is Wall Height compatible with Foundry v14?

No, it's verified only for v13. Foundry v14 has core Levels. The Levels module is verified for v14 and can migrate your scenes to core Levels.

What replaces Simple Calendar on Foundry v14?

Simple Calendar Reborn (a fork of the original) and Calendaria are both verified for v14. Calendaria requires 3DS:ATLAS.

Midi-QOL says it's compatible with v14. Why doesn't it work on my D&D 5e world?

The Midi-QOL build listed on FoundryMods is verified for Foundry v14 but supports dnd5e 5.3 only. On dnd5e 6.x, install Midi-QOL and DAE 14.6.0 or later from their manifest links.
