Terms of Use

Last updated: April 25, 2026

Welcome to FoundryMods (the “Service”), a directory and hosting platform for Foundry Virtual Tabletop modules and game systems operated by Baileywiki (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your jurisdiction) to create an account. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Authentication is provided through Baileywiki Central; the associated identity terms apply to your sign-in.

2. Module Listings & Ownership Claims

Module metadata is aggregated from public sources, including The Forge Bazaar. Creators may claim ownership of their modules to manage releases, descriptions, and gating settings. You may only claim modules that you own or have explicit authorization to represent. We may revoke claims that appear fraudulent.

3. Hosted Releases & Developer Subscriptions

Module owners may upload release packages (ZIP files) to be hosted on FoundryMods. Hosting storage, gated downloads, and related creator tooling are offered through an optional paid subscription managed by Baileywiki. Subscription tiers, pricing, and storage quotas are described on the subscription page and may change with reasonable notice.

You retain all rights in the content you upload. By uploading, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, reproduce, transmit, and display that content as needed to operate the Service (including delivering installations to authorized end users).

4. Patreon-Gated Content

Creators may restrict access to specific releases based on Patreon tier. We rely on the creator’s Patreon connection and Patreon’s reported membership data to gate downloads. Creators are responsible for the accuracy of their tier configuration and for honoring their patrons’ entitlements. We do not mediate disputes between creators and their patrons.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Upload content you do not have the right to distribute.
  • Upload malware, miners, or code that intentionally harms users or their systems.
  • Circumvent Patreon tier checks, download limits, or other access controls.
  • Scrape the Service in ways that materially burden infrastructure, or redistribute the catalogue at scale.
  • Use the Service to harass other users or developers.
  • Attempt to compromise the Service, its database, or other users’ accounts.

6. Foundry VTT & Third-Party Marks

FoundryMods is an independent community directory and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Foundry Gaming LLC. “Foundry Virtual Tabletop” and related marks belong to their respective owners. Game system and module names are used for identification only.

7. DMCA & Takedowns

If you believe content hosted on the Service infringes your copyright, use the Report button on the affected module or game system page to submit a takedown notice. Include the URL of the material, a description of the work infringed, your contact information, and a good-faith statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights holder. Reports route directly to our review team and we respond to valid notices in accordance with applicable law.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create legal exposure, or abuse the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time; uploaded content may be removed at your request, subject to reasonable backup retention windows.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any module hosted by a third party meets your requirements. Installing modules is at your own risk; review what you install.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Baileywiki and its contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill arising out of your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) amounts you paid us in the prior 12 months, or (b) USD 50.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or via email where we have one on file. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

12. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent via our contact form.
