Eledryll - Spiders Tear Opera House

The Red Spider’s Opera House was inaugurated with great pomp. Everyone wanted an invitation. Nobles, merchants, officials and clergymen alike. For months, some of the less renowned families in town toiled to get at least one person in that fateful night, even if it was just to man the cloakroom. The opera was puzzling to most guests. It was written especially for this event by an author nobody ever heard of. The tale was a bizarre and disjointed tragedy. It told the story of a travelling troupe of performers who went from city to city, murdering their patrons in gruesome yet awkwardly lyrical ways. All arias sang this night had the same beautiful, ethereal character to them. The following morning, friends, family and passersby alike all reported that the attendees were acting out of character in odd, erratic ways.
