Eledryll - Lothaire Estate

Maximilian Lothaire was a fickle and exuberant lord. His estate was built on a small island, near the coast of his native canal city, Selemlyn. Every month, he would host lavish balls and soirées where only the crème de la crème were invited. Nobles, notables, mystics and known craftsmen were its usual company. Not being on the guest list was a matter of social death, to the extent that some of the country’s rising stars would go to great and deeply immoral lengths in order to secure an invitation. What happened during this balls, nobody knew. The craziest rumors could be heard, but none could be verified. Guests were usually quiet on the matter. To avoid further questioning, some even said they couldn’t remember a thing. It was not rare to hear that one of the attendees had left town in the morrow. The aura of mystery, the horrid rumors only made people more curious, more eager to attend, more restless when the fated invitation finally appeared on their desk.
