Eledryll - Cryptic Chambers

Almost all journeys in the Otherworldly Vaults start through the Cryptic Chambers, al-Akhlam’s private laboratories. Long corridors of ancient, unearthly stone connect various studies and labs, lit up by undying flames producing no heat. With time, as the old wizard shifted his focus on other projects, these old studies of his were left abandoned. Now, only a handful of creatures pace up and down the dilapidated halls of his heydays. Wandering mages in search of the archwizard’s secrets and scrolls, doomed thieves and escaped experiments… The old labs are not as empty as they seem. Forgotten chimeras lurk in the shadows, preying on whatever meat and scraps they can find. However, there is a much more dangerous threat in these chambers. Al-Akhlam’s last experiment in his lab was to make a clone, a creature of artificial flesh and soul sharing his brilliant mind and affinity for magic. The clone, persuaded to be the original and endowed with godly powers, could be neither controlled nor
