Eledryll - Ancestral Clearing

The Carcass Conclave used to assemble in this clearing for centuries. The druids of the Conclave shared a particular view on the Cycle. For them, there was nothing more beautiful than a rotting corpse, festering under the morning light, teeming with unseen life. There, the sun-bleached bones of a great ancient stag adorn the clear stream running through the forest. On the new moon, during the night the conclave meets, it is said that the stag spirit visits the druids to offer guidance and choose an emissary among the living. What sort of advice is given by an undying ghost? You can only guess. Something must have changed recently in the great beast’s counseling. The woods have become more dangerous than they used to be and a spark of insanity now dances in the druids’ bloodshot eyes.
