In the middle of a sea of ashes, where dunes raise high enough to block the sun, amidst ruins of decayed splendor and broken domes of mithral, stands a lonely, misshaped tower of ivory and gold. Its halls crumble under the weight of the eons. The luster of its golden inlays is now tarnished by time and war. Even the most polished marble eventually turns to dust. But celestials…are another breed. More resilient than steel, more polished than marble. What is not mortal cannot die, for better and for worse. Their body does not decay, yet insanity slowly, very slowly creeps into their addled mind.
