Rattling skeletons, rotting zombies, dust-covered mummies - aventurian necromancy has made it its business to continue to use the bodies of the dead and deceased for a higher purpose after their passing. In most cases, this purpose consists of working as a will-less servant creature for the necromancer or supporting the ambitions of the creator with the dwindling fighting power of the decayed body. But in its essence, necromancy is not evil, as it can be accomplished not only magically with demonic help, but also karmically and thus in accordance with divine will. The undead come in many different shapes and forms, be it a mindless animal corpse, the docile corpse of a fresh murder victim or a self-aware but undoubtedly departed soul that simply does not want to accept its deplorable state. The Aventurian Necromanthaeum presents undeath in all its facets.
