But this year, the discovery of the first flower brought only misery and hardship ... and no mead to get the party started. But innocent beginnings might have deadly consequences for heroes unprepared to frolic merrily through the deadly alpine woods to uncover a mystery hidden at the heart of the gala’s violent past. The Meadow Queen, written by Jason Whitesitt, is an adventure for 4-6 fourth-level characters available in 5th Edition and Castles & Crusades compatible versions. This adventure introduces the isolated Schönesfeld valley, its snowcapped environs, and the alpine village of Talzing. In pursuit of lost mead and missing persons (both dead and alive), the characters undergo a series of three trials as they attempt to let romance shine again.
