There are many texts, tales, and stories about horrible beasts, monsters, or even abominations from other planes of existence. But few are the ones that speak of some of the most powerful, cruel, yet intelligent beings in the universe. They go by many names, usually spoken or pronounced in forbidden tongues. For that reason, mortals came up with common words such as observers, spectators, watchers, or eye tyrants to name them. This was a way to remove some of the connotations and bad thoughts that their real names carry. However, these monikers mean nothing when confronted face-to-face. A mass of flesh with a monstrous central eye surrounded by multiple eye stalks, crowned by a lipless smile that features only razor-sharp, dire wolf-sized fangs. This adventure describes the awakening of one of these monsters. The Cult of the Eye has been preparing for years. They plan to bring back to life a dead observer in the shape of a @UUID[Actor.yoBtnqAKn7Mdfu7q]{Skeleton Eye Tyrant}. Fortunately,
Ambition is a mortal's worst enemy. A mind lost in ambition breaks laws, cheats on their loved ones, betrays their own, or worse. History is filled with lessons about this. They summoned a sea of moths

The shrill winds of the highlands whistle through narrow crags and ridges, carrying with them whispers of ancient craft and more recent horrors. Here lies the Green-Quartz Mine, a once-thriving source of prospecting wealth. Alas, it is now silent beneath layers of dust and fear. Normally a marvel of bustling commerce of precious stones and coal, the mine also serves as the only known entrance to a greater complex known as the Hall of the Wyrmbone Anvil. Within those buried halls, it is noted, lies a magical, dwarvish anvil carved from the bones of the last ember-drake. It is said that smiths’ hammers can be blessed upon its surface to become magical.
Mortals have a limited understanding of the true nature of existence due to their relatively short lifespans. In contrast, extraplanar beings, dragons, and many manifestations of the fey are practically immortal. They do not suffer from the rushed lives of mankind and can dedicate centuries, or even millennia, to the study of the remote and slow-moving planes. Understanding the implications of planar movements and how they affect each other, how they connect, or not, to each other, is reserved for the most patient and perseverant creatures. The fey excel in this endeavor. Their planar observatories are fine pieces of machinery capable of tracking and predicting the subtle movements of planes. Studying the legacy of the planes requires these eldritch contraptions. In this adventure, an apprentice mage seeks to discover the fate of her missing progenitor. Her father, a wizard, sought the location of a fey planar observatory. A strange fey being, the spider matron, revealed the observatory

Long ago, the elves of Lareth’Ael built a sacred shrine atop Eggshell Summit, deep within the Verdant Wyrdwood.
