# FoundryMods

> A community-driven directory for Foundry VTT modules. Browse, search, and discover modules; build and share loadouts; install premium content with authenticated manifest URLs.

FoundryMods is an unofficial, community-maintained alternative to the Foundry module directory. It indexes thousands of modules from The Forge's Bazaar plus self-registered creator modules, and lets developers claim ownership of their listings, gate downloads behind Patreon tiers, and publish loadouts (curated module collections installable as a single Foundry manifest URL).

- Module changelogs: each module page lists release notes per channel — Production (default) and Testing (`/modules/<slug>?channel=testing`). Machine-readable at `/api/v1/modules/<id-or-slug>/changelog?channel=stable|production|testing` (JSON, or markdown with `Accept: text/markdown`). Publishers set these notes with `X-FM-Changelog-B64`; adding `X-FM-Channel: testing` files them under the module Testing tab. Module release notes are separate from the site-wide What's New page.
